A desolate scene, however one also brimming with hint of light and new life. It is a 4000 year history of THE Jewish family, and many of the periods of their history are bleak with disaster, however, they always always recovered. The light is to signify that. The strength of the tree in a bleak season represents a strong people able to endure hardship, yet persevere.
	We have known how to fly for centuries... Daedalus Rising The True Story of Icarus by Robert William Case Daedalus Rising's cover is an image of a man flying over the sea. It is not a shadow on the water, but a reflection of the man above. It is a reflection of a man whose invention was unprecedented in its era and its beauty can be seen even if you can't see it directly. Since the circumstances of Icarus' death have remained unknown until this novel, we can not look upon Daedalus directly. We can only see the strength and beauty of what he created.
	A military family's history - Three generations of heroes Your Grandfather's Sabre A Century of Sacrifice by David Kotzebue The sabre in this picture signifies the military and how the military's presence in the three generations of this family was at the forefront of their lives, but it also split their lives in two. The beauty of the wedding photo stands in stark contrast to the sabre which is capable of killing, not just warriors in battle, but also capable of killing dreams on the homefront.

The red color of course, is for the traditional Valentine. The Chinese characters are courage, clarity, love and happiness. Because you have to have courage to open this book to find the clarity you'll need to accept the love you desire to bring in the happiness you deserve when you find the perfect person to love and who will love you back.

The ships sailing to the New World under Columbus' command show that Columbus left Spain during one of its darkest hours.

The child is Unseen by society and by choice, because the more she is unseen, the less she is attack by those in her life. The color only being in the clothes she is wearing signifies the drabness she felt as a person growing up. The blank expression on her face symbolizes the lack of emotion she allowed herself to feel during her youth.

No symbolic pictures, just a clear message that the brain is a muscle which can be sharpened with use.
	Correcting the facts & myths surrounding obesity, weight loss and your health Heavy and Healthy Forget Your Weight & Get Fit by Othniel Seiden, MD & Jane Bilett, Ph.D. The H in being used in both directions as the start of both of the significant words on the cover symbolizes the connection, that you can be both Heavy and Healthy. The words framing the cover show an all-encompassing topic explained within. The "sun" behind the 'and sign' also helps to connect the two words which typically aren't used in conversation together. The inset explains the major thrust of the book with the subtitle.
